Free, no sign-up. Only the site's public files are read; the URL you enter is not stored.
llms.txt what it is
A Markdown file for AI at /llms.txt: what the site does and which pages matter most. Proposed in 2024 (llmstxt.org), it is not a rule every AI company has committed to reading, but it costs little.
| Part | What goes in | Where the draft takes it from |
|---|---|---|
| # Name | Site or product name | The homepage's og:site_name, else its title |
| > Summary | One sentence: what it does and for whom | The homepage's meta description |
| ## Pages | The most important pages, one link per line | Links on the homepage, then pages from the sitemap (up to 40) |
| ## Optional | Pages that can be skipped | Privacy policy, terms, sign-in and similar pages |
What do I do after generating it?
Edit it first: put the summary in your own words, drop links that don't matter, and add a short note after the important ones ("- [Title](url): note"). Then save it as plain UTF-8 text at your site's root so /llms.txt opens directly.
Will AI recommend me once I have an llms.txt?
No. It only helps AI understand your site faster. Whom AI recommends depends on whether the pages its answers cite mention you.
Is this tool free?
Yes, free and no sign-up. kagentx's evaluation is paid: it actually asks AI products and checks whether the answers name you and whom they cite.
Your llms.txt is ready.
Does AI recommend you?
An evaluation actually asks AI products the questions people ask in your category and checks whether the answers name you. Basic is $1, usually ready in 2–3 minutes.
